Golfers needed for RíRá benefit for Families First
PORTSMOUTH Community-minded golfers are invited to participate in RíRá Irish Pubs second annual Charity Golf Classic, to benefit Families First Health and Support Center. It takes place August 11 at The Links at Outlook Golf Course in South Berwick.
Pre-registration is open now at www.rira.portsmouth.golfreg.com. Tournament-day registration begins at noon, with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. The cost is $100 per player or $400 per team of four. The format is a four-person modified scramble. Awards will be given for the low-gross team, longest drive, closest to the pin, hole-in-one and more. An after-party will be held at the Portsmouth RíRá in Market Square, featuring a buffet, live band, raffle and auction.
One hundred percent of the tournament proceeds will support programs and services at Families First Health and Support Center, the Seacoasts community health center. Families Firsts programs are available to all, regardless of ability to pay, and include primary care, prenatal care, dental care, parenting and family programs and health care for the homeless.
