Families First offers free programs for parents and families



In partnership with the Family Assistance Network of Western Rockingham County, Families First Health and Support Center brings free programs for parents and families to Raymond and Epping. This springs programs are: " In Epping: Family Morning Out. Thursdays (except 4/29), 9:30 to 11 a.m., at Epping Rec Center at Watson Academy, 17 Academy St. For children ages birth through 6 and their caregivers. The first half is family time, with play, song circle, creative activities, snack and story. In the second half, child care staff play with children while caregivers have some adult time. May/June focus: Active Parenting 1, 2, 3, 4: Learn how to prevent problems and encourage positive behavior. " In Raymond: Siblings Without Rivalry, Wednesdays, May 5-19, 6:007:30 p.m. at Raymond Baptist Church Community Building, 145 Route 27. 895-4735 x125. Learn why kids fight; when to intervene and when not to; and strategies for handling kids feelings and behavior. Free child care is included with all programs, and pizza dinner is included with evening programs. Advance signup is needed for all programs; call Families First at 603-422-8208 ext. 2.

In addition to the above programs, Families First also offers parent and family programs in Portsmouth and Seabrook.
